WHO IS AMY ?

Amy is a seasoned expert in visual merchandising with a professional journey that spans across some of the ​most vibrant cities and leading retail brands in Europe. Her story is one of passion, dedication, and ​continuous growth in the field of visual merchandising. Amy began her career as a Store Manager in Rome, a ​role she held for seven years. It was here that she discovered her passion for visual merchandising, ​recognizing the powerful impact that captivating displays could have on customer engagement and sales.

Driven by her newfound passion, Amy pursued a one-year Visual Merchandising course. This intensive ​program culminated in a final project where she had to design and execute a storefront display from scratch, ​showcasing her unique ideas and creativity. Her exceptional work in this course laid a strong foundation for ​her future career.

Eager to expand her horizons, Amy moved to Amsterdam, where she secured a position as a Visual ​Merchandiser with Primark. During her year-long tenure with Primark, she honed her skills in creating ​compelling visual displays that attracted and engaged customers.

Amy's career then took a dynamic turn as she ventured into the world of fashion sports. She worked with ​leading brands like JD Sports and Nike, where she further developed her expertise in visual merchandising for ​sportswear and lifestyle products. Her ability to blend aesthetic appeal with brand identity made her a valuable ​asset in these roles. Amy’s exceptional performance and innovative approach led to her promotion to Regional ​Town Merchandiser. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the visual merchandising of seven stores, ​including two flagship stores. Her strategic vision and leadership ensured that each store maintained a high ​standard of visual presentation, enhancing the shopping experience and driving sales. With a wealth of ​experience and a passion for teaching, Amy founded AmyVisual Academy.
